Ten die in Hoima road accident

Ten people have died and four others are admitted at Hoima regional referral hospital following an accident along Kyenjojo-Kaseta junction on the Hoima-Kaiso-Tonya road in Kabwoya Sub-County, Hoima district in Western Uganda.

The tragedy occurred on Tuesday night at 8:30PM when a lorry registration number UAM 396V failed to brake and overturned several times.

Steven Muhoozi, the Hoima district officer in charge of traffic said on Wednesday morning that the dead include six females, three males and one juvenile who were heading to Kaiso landing site along Lake Albert from Kaseta market.
