A dust-free homestead will keep mites away

DUST mites (dermatophagoides spp.) feed on cloth fibre, plant pollen, human and animal skin (dander), soil particles and fungal spores. House dust mites are not the only source of allergens indoors, but they may be one of the most important.

Control measure
Dust mite allergy can be managed by lowering indoor humidity, controlling the allergen pool and medically treating the allergy itself. Mites occur in very specific habitats such as bird and rodent nests, so getting rid of them will eliminate the mites. Also making sure the house is free of dust may be a remedy.
