“Recently, we got a loan of $2m that we have used to install a new circular loom that has made the company reach a 65% level of production. It is aimed at weaving high- quality sacks that can compete effectively in East Africa,†the managing director, Mohammed Lalani, said.
“We are also spending $100,000 that is part of the $2m for purchasing a recycling machine,†he said.
