ANOTHER pastor has been questioned over claims that Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Centre sodomised boys.

Pastor Bob Male of Omega Healing Centre in Namasuba, a Kampala suburb, reported to the Criminal Investigation Directorate in Kibuli at 9:00am.

In the company of his lawyer, Paul Rutisya, he waited until 11:00am when he was taken the office of the CID deputy director, Moses Sakira. He was questioned for allegedly falsifying information and swearing a false affidavit.

Two hours later, an upbeat Male came out of the CID offices and shook hands with friends.

“It was not as tough as I thought. The battle against homosexuality continues,” he vowed.

Also interrogated was Samson Mukisa, one of Kayanja’s accusers, who arrived with his lawyer, Andrew Kasirye.

Mukisa denied having any connection with Olivia Nansubuga, a woman, who yesterday claimed to be his mother.

“I don’t know the woman,” Mukisa told journalists.

He refuted allegations that he had retracted his earlier statement against Pastor Kayanja.

Mukisa and Kasirye’s lawyer later met with the CID director, Edward Ochom for about 45 minutes. Ochom then led Mukisa to Sakira’s office for fresh interrogation.

By press time, Mukisa was still at Kibuli.

Nansubuga, dressed in black, also arrived in Kibuli. It was not clear if she had been summoned.

Pastors Solomon Male and Martin Ssempa, who were interrogated on Monday, spent the entire day at the directorate, but were told to return today.

In a related development, a 36-year-old man, David Mukalizi, yesterday surfaced at the CID with fresh sodomy allegations against Kayanja.
